Beastly is based on the novel by Alex Flinn of the same name. With the new British actor, Alex Pettyfer and High School Musical’s Vanessa Hudgens, it retelling fairytale story, Beauty and the Beast in the modern-day New York.

Kyle Kingson (Alex Pettyfer) is a rich and good looking. He has everything a person could want like look, intelligence, wealth and popularity.
When campaigning to be the Green Committee President, he gives the most horrible speech and tell the everyone that they are ugly so they do not deserve anything, but he is beautiful so he does.
He piss off a girl called Kendra (Mary Kate Olsen) at the election after party. Kendra cursed him and turning into a tattooed, scarred freak. But this curse can cure if he can meet a girl and says she loves him within a year, he will become normal.
Kyle’s father (Peter Krause) cannot stand a sight of him and send him to a secret but gracious home across the New York’s bridges and tunnels. He hires Zora (Lisa Gay Hamilton) to attend his needs and a blind personal tutor (Neil Patrick Harris).
Lindy (Vanessa Hudgens), one girl from his Manhattan high school has force to living with them. Lindy does not know it is Kyle, as far as she knows. She overlooks his beastly look and Kyle’s personality slowly improves with her beside him. Will they find the true love and cure the curse?
